Welcome to Verdure, a vegetarian meal delivery service. These Terms & Conditions govern your subscription, your purchase and consumption of our meals, your use of our website, and all interactions with our brand. By using our services and placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility

To subscribe or place an order with Verdure, you must be 18 years of age or older. You affirm that you will use our website and services only in a lawful, safe, and intended manner, adhering to all our policies.

Account and Customer Requirements

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate account and order information for all subscriptions and purchases made through our service. This includes your contact details, payment information, and delivery address. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order or subscription at our discretion.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account details and for all activities that occur under your account. The customer who holds the subscription is considered the primary responsible party for all transactions.

Menu Availability and Meal Condition

We make every effort to ensure our meals are of the highest quality and freshness. However, specific ingredients, especially those that are seasonal or from small-batch farms, are subject to availability, which may require substitutions of equal or greater value. An order is not confirmed until you receive an official order confirmation for your weekly delivery. You are responsible for promptly refrigerating your meals upon delivery and reporting any issues with the quality or condition of your delivered order.

Fees and Pricing

All meal and subscription prices are listed in U.S. Dollars ($) and are exclusive of applicable sales tax and delivery fees, which will be calculated and added at checkout. You are charged based on the prices listed at the time of your weekly order cutoff. Full payment for your delivery is required according to your billing cycle to secure your order. Prices for our meals and subscription plans are subject to change without notice.

Order Completion and Delivery

You are responsible for providing an accurate and complete delivery address, including any necessary access codes or instructions. We are not responsible for delivery failures or delays due to incorrect/incomplete addresses, or if you are unavailable to accept the delivery. Once a delivery is completed and left at the address, Verdure is no longer liable for the order's condition due to external factors like improper storage, spoilage, or theft.

Cancellations, Refunds, and Disputes

Refunds and cancellations are handled according to our policy. You may skip a week or cancel your subscription at any time before the weekly cutoff time specified in your account dashboard. If you believe your meals do not meet our quality standards, you must contact our customer service team within 24 hours of delivery, with photographic evidence, to be eligible for a review and potential credit.

Intellectual Property

The Verdure name, logo, unique meal recipes, menu item names, food photography, and all related service names and website content are our intellectual property. We grant you a limited license to access and use our website for personal use. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of our brand assets or website content is strictly prohibited.

User Conduct and Liability

Users are responsible for their use of our website. You agree not to use our site for any unlawful purpose or to post any content that is defamatory, obscene, or infringing. Our total liability in connection with any meal or service purchased is strictly limited to the purchase price of that specific weekly delivery.

Applicable Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States. In the event of any dispute, the courts of Santa Clara County, California shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. The revised Terms will be posted on our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
